Although the opportunity to trade in CFDs and financial spread betting is there for just about everyone, there has been a disparity in the number of men and women taking part, but there are signs of a shift in the number of female traders getting involved. People can trade on their computers, laptops, tablet PCs and even on their smartphones. Another reason behind the growth in the number of female traders is that there’s less hostility towards women holding key positions in the corporate world. As the infographic illustrates, many of the female traders interviewed either ran their own companies or held high-ranking roles with their employers.
